Matthew Lum
President
Matthew is a junior at Carlmont High School and joined Proteus Engineering to spark special needs kids' passion for STEM engineering through different curricula and projects. He hopes to make an impact in his community and achieve his mission of innovation for all. During his free time, Matthew enjoys playing lacrosse, hanging out with friends, and working on his robotics team.

He joined Proteus Engineering to spread his love of engineering to the wider community by creating different projects and curricula for students. Hi! I'm Nicolai, an incoming sophomore at Carlmont High School. I do robotics for FTC team 9784 and enjoy coding, specifically in Java. Some of my hobbies include hanging out with friends, watching/playing sports, coding, and playing video games. I am super exicted to be part of Proteus this year!

Kenneth is a rising Junior at Carlmont High School and loves to program. He joined Proteus Engineering to help neurodivergent students find their love for engineering. During his free time, he loves to practice Kung-Fu, code different projects, and work on robotics.

Hi, my name’s Jonathan and I’m currently a junior. My hobbies include tennis, rock climbing, and model building. I’m also part of the 199 robotics team. During my free time I enjoy hanging out with friends, playing video games, or watching TV.

Hi, I’m Issy, and I am a sophomore at Carlmont High School! I joined the Proteus Engineering Club because I’ve always had a keen interest in STEM, specifically technology and math. I saw this club as the perfect opportunity to not only kickstart my passion but also teach others the amazing possibilities of what STEM can do. Outside of school, I enjoy designing blueprints of home models, refining my public speaking skills, and doing math!
